This seems to be an endemic issue here now. Is there any way to change the text color or bump up the text size on the registration page where it states:
"Use your full name, first and last separated by a space"
Undoubtedly no one reads instructions and that's fine but it seems to make work for the admins and starts our new members off on the wrong foot.
New registrations and full names.

Re: New registrations and full names.
Good point David, I've changed the color to red and left it bold. There's not much space in that form so I didn't want to bump up the font size significantly. I'd like to add a little script to check for two words separated by a space but have not had time to do that.

That would be a great idea Charlie. David is right, and it is distracting for readers to always have to read those little messages from staff to the new folks, it takes away from the content in the discussions.

I'll add it to the list, but (for mods) I don't think there is any harm in deleting the reminder messages after they've been acted on.

Is this just an indication of more new people finding the mimf?

Thanks Charlie,
If we're going to have a rule we should make it clear and easy to follow. If it weeds out a few here and there, I don't think they will be missed.
