Sometime this spring/summer, I'm hoping to pick up a Les Paul kit, with mahogany body and neck, flame maple top. Hi Gaston and welcome! Thank you for the welcome, Charlie. I imagine I wouldn't be building many, to start... Tools for building a solidbody electric?

Band saw
Router
Drill press
Sander

What else would you consider an absolute basic necessity in woodworking tools, for building a neck-through LP basic style guitar?
I imagine I'd get a pre-slotted neck, so that's one challenge I'd dodge the bullet on (*whew*) :D
