Thanks, Greg! For my future builds, this will be good to know. If I do another 6-string, I may consider further counteracting the effect of the tension with compression fretting or maybe compensating when I do the initial leveling. peace, R

My first fretted build, a six-string bass, has gone through 2 1/2 years of seasonal changes and the truss rod adjustments I make (in December and July) are very predictable and it plays like a dream. I like the curves shown on the side view of the peghead. The stealth option is making me re-think using planetary pegs or other guitar tuners on an electric violin design I have started- the photo taken with the Grover was very helpful. Thanks for sharing.

Grouping according to similar construction types has been helpful to me. Some great ideas and inspiration for my last bass came from the high-strung builds (and builders). Maybe put basses before guitars?
