Gallotone was made in South Africa. Besides the guitars, it was also a record label and some other musical enterprises. Most of these necks do tend to come off dry with some wiggling. Always a happy moment when it separates easily with no damage. As far as the "faux pearl" goes, this is celluloid and basically the same material as old drum covering. Drummers call this color "white marine pearl". I...
