fixing a poly finish ?

Hi folks, I have a guitar with a good size crack in the finish.It's a little hard to describe but the finish has actually curled up and you can feel the ridge very easily where it is "cracked".The finish is a quilted sunburst with a clear poly on top.I'm not expecting to do a flawless repa...

Hey guys,thanks for the reply's.I will take your advice and make the hole in the body bigger.They were not out of line a lot so maybe as David says I can fix the alignment,just didn't want to force anything as the guitar is 30 years old and seems to be be pretty dry.Making the holes in the body bigg...
