Re: Building a hurdy-gurdy

Hey Charlie, Like all have said, wonderful job. I think I had bought a set of plans when Deb was working but they still sit in my shop. A project like this takes some big determination for me and as much as I would love to build it just to hear it. Life gets in my way a lot these days I admire your ...

Re: Mario Proulx's filter?

I know this is just so obvious but in my 20's and 30's, what dust? My last checkup the X-ray report reads mild COPD. I said " hey doc, I've never smoked a cigarette in my entire 59 years of life".

You just really gotta follow these common sense rules

Re: Go-Bar Deck - - - "How To" Questions

Re: Continue to build or hang it up?

I have to agree with Chris also. My dad is now 95. He retired at 71 and could not stop. He decided to sell tools at a local weekend market. From there went on to musical instruments. He only stopped 3 yrs ago when he was losing the ability to drive safely and process thought quickly. Today he sits i...

Re: New archtop...Just finished

Chris,

This is one of the most beautiful guitars I have seen. I love the Benedetto style. Impeccable work and headstock design. Sorry for the stresses...I know them. It sucks

Re: Top crack

Personally, I think your inlay is highly creative and gives the guitar great look ...very different. I like it. My very first guitar about 10 years ago, now has developed that exact same crack. I hope you won't mind that when I get enough motivation, I 'borrow' a similar idea!
