Re: The millionth same quest about wood

The millionth same quest about wood
Hello! The "common sense" about wood says Rosewood has more bass and treble than mahogany, but less mids and a more prominent treble... Is there any wood tht have bass and middle as both combined but a bit tamed treble? Sometimes I think steel strings have too much bite and nylon too few.....

Mid level guitar factories
Hello guys/gals! I'm contemplating to design some guitars and have it completely done by a factory (as opposit to the last idea of they just building the hollow bodies) Basically would be one derivatived from Strat, one superstrat, probably a V and an Explorer style, or something like this. Re: Pointy guitars
No, sorry I didn't explain correctly.
This jack drilling goes straight to the pickup cavity and then to the control cavity or it's drilled someway direct to the countrol cavity?
I've no idea how they make the wires get there

Does anybody know what is the path the channel of this jack makes till the control box?
And how they do it?

Hello guys, I've some doubts regards archtops 1) I've an Adirondack soundboard blank for archtop, but it has a dark stain in the middle and would be ugly to do a 17" archtop in natural/burst... That leads to 2 options: I learn how to make the stain have the same color as the other parts (which ...

Floating archtop bridge on flattops
Hello there!
I was thinking here, as the traditional glued bridge in flattops has a lot of trouble, is there any reason why people don't make that style of bridges of archtops in acoustic?
Has anyone experience in one guitar like this?
Cheers

Basically: he add the iron and alcohol in a j...
