Thank you I figured it was . There is no give in the neck at all when I try and move it , it seems quite stable , it just appears to have open slightly , and by that I mean 20-30 thousands of an inch I can remove and reset it was just hoping not to have to.

I have this old Harmony and don't want to pull the neck or fret board off to answer my question . Does anyone know if that had a mortised neck or a dovetail neck or a Flat to body fit ?
