Re: Designs for an MIMF headstock logo?
Could I submit a logo sketched by my little brother if he makes one? He is the creative type, with a degree in graphic design.

Re: First post/first build
That looks like a nice instrument. I am a fan of hard tail Strats and Duncan Jazz neck pickups. I don't expect my first to turn out that nice if I ever finish it. I really like your creative reuse of the Squier neck.

Re: Bargain find...
I have enjoyed this discussion and will be filing "Old Yamaha Acoustic Guitars" into the items of interest section of my brain as the new yard sale season approaches. I thank you guys for planting that seed.
Congrats on your find.

Congrats on your find.

Everything on that guitar works really well together visually.

Re: Guitar amps
I love my 20 Watt Jet City Combo. It is a single channel Asian manufactured tube amp designed by Mike Soldano. It doesn't have the most clean head room I have ever heard. The clean tone doesn't rival a vintage fender or anything, but it is pretty decent sounding. The gain level covers everything fro...

Re: RIP Jim Marshall
That's a bummer. I would like to go purchase the used 60 Watt JCM 2000 combo from the local shop to honor his memory. I would have to sell my Les Paul to get the money, and I don't know if owning a Marshall without a Les Paul makes sense to me.

Re: So all I wanted was some hot water...
If I ever get everything needed for a plumbing project in one trip to Lowe's I am going out and buying a lottery ticket as soon as the job is done. Glad to hear you got it all put back together. Our water heater sprung a leak from the tank a month or so ago. My wife called the manufacturer, they sai...

Re: Removing Broken Neck Screw
Thanks for the help and ideas guys. I looked at the damage to the body from the previous "repair" and decided that notching it with an abrasive disk in the Dremel wouldn't be any worse than what is already there. I was able to notch the screw and remove it. Once I got it out, I was a littl...

Removing Broken Neck Screw
I have had an old Series 10 "Professional Series" tele copy sitting around for a few years. I never felt particularly inspired by the guitar because of the neck on it. Lately I have been wanting to add a tele to the arsenal; so I took it apart and found that the previous owner had snapped ...
